Just Imagine...

There you are, riding your stationary bike (or taking a walk, or using your treadmill, or whatever other form of exercise you're doing), and you're just kind of zoning out, connecting with the rhythm of what you're doing.  This is the time when your mind lazily wanders here, there, and everywhere; where thoughts pass by without a fuss or a stopover; where nothing really matters except your breathing and the steady motion of whatever you're doing.

It's the time when your imagination can be at its most potent, if you let it...

Just imagine: You're out walking, and as you're walking, those layers are melting right off of you without you even being aware of it...  Or, you're riding your stationary bike, and with each push of the pedals, you're pushing away more of those layers.  Just imagine, and while you're seeing the fat suit peel itself away from you, let yourself go deeper into the scene until it feels so real you'd swear it was actually happening.  Then, when you reach that moment, realize that what you're seeing is real and true and that it has already happened.  If you do this every day for the next 3 weeks, I'll bet you're going to notice some significant and positive changes...

Imagination isn't just something that allows us to create dreams or situations in our heads.  It's so much more.  In fact, most people use the word "visualization" instead of "imagination" because of what the word evokes. Let me explain.

When I hear the word imagination, my first response is "make-believe." When I hear the word visualization, however, my first response is "possibility."  You see?

So, go ahead:  Imagine - visualize - yourself peeling off that fat suit.  Visualize its disappearance as if it's already gone.  Before you know it, your clothes are going to be a whole lot looser and you're going to be feeling a whole lot lighter - and a whole lot better physically as well as emotionally and mentally. Then, think about how that feels; think about what it's like to be free of the extra layers; and think about how you'd feel if you had to carry those layers around, again.

Have a great night!

Great post. It can be used for so much more that the fat suit. It's a good reminder for me anyway. Oh and thanks for the comment on my post. Made me think in a direction I have nerver thought before!
