Sixteen Tons, and Whaddya Get...

HA!  I'll bet you thought I'd given up on this place, didn't you?  Or that I'd rolled right off the planet, eh?  SURPRISE! I'm baaaaa-aaaack! 

I've been away for two weeks helping out my dear friend with her grandmother - and guess what?  While I was away, I peeled off 5 whole layers! And then, I dared to step on the scale today, and guess what?  Five more layers were gone!   Man, I'm so over the moon that I've orbited it at least five times, so far!

Here's the trick:  MOVE.  I've been doing hard, physically-demanding work for the past two weeks, and the layers haven't had any choice but to peel away.  Making sure I ate healthy really helped, too.  And continuing to eat healthy stuff now that I'm back home is having awesome results.    I actually feel lighter...

So, how's it going with you?  Are you sticking to your guns?  Are you saying no to the bad stuff and hello to the good stuff?  Are you doing okay in peeling off the layers?  While I was away, my girlfriend's mom got me this great book called "Dieting and You."  It's got fantastic, healthy recipes which are not only good for you, but they may also help you drop the pounds.  I'll write more about this the next time I get in here (which, I hope, will be a whole lot sooner from now on).
